Sailboat Day Sailing Charters

 Captain and owner, Gary Powell is US Coast Guard 50ton Master Licensed.  The Cabo Rico 34, SpinDrift, is fully insured for day or overnight charters.  The boat is in pristine condition with new sails including spinnaker and is very stable and seaworthy under sail or power.   It has very comfortable and spacious seating for 6 in the cockpit and wide decks for easy passage forward to the bow.

The charter usually starts and finishes with pick-up at the Duxbury Town Pier located next to the Duxbury Harbor Master’s Office.  We take a 10 minute motorboat ride on a new 16’ Zodiac RIB with Yamaha 70 engine to the SpinDrift mooring next to Clark’s Island.

It is always good to bring a splash jacket and comfortable or warmer clothes.  Sneakers/sandals with soft soles are preferred over street shoe soles.  A newly installed (user friendly) private head (toilet) is available when needed.

Day sail charters comfortably accommodate 4 persons (up to 6 can be discussed).   Boarding time is generally flexible to suit your needs.

Light snacks and bottled water is provided for day charters.  Lunches and other beverages can be provided a-la-carte.
